It is common knowledge that all wolves have been extinct for over two hundred years. This is false,  because rather than disappearing, the wolves have taken on human forms. Kiba, a lone wolf, wonders into a city, searching for a flower girl named Cheza. She and the wolves are drawn to eachother. Once Kiba finds Cheza, she is kidnapped by a person named Darcia. Before he leaves to search for her, Kiba meets three other wolfs that go along on his journey to search for paradise... This anime was amazing. It had so many touching parts and was just great.




It's been hundreds of years since anyones really heard of witches. That doesn't mean they don't exist, though. An organization called STN was created to capture the remaining witches. As a leading, secret organization, STN's influence has reached the government and police force. Recently, because of Japan's change in society, more witch activity has developed. The STNJ force, a higher verson of STN, assembles a group of hunters to draw a desperate, last minute fight against witches. However, a mysterious death of one of the witches causes a decrease in the members of the STNJ. In order to help STNJ, a lone fifteen year old girl is sent by salomen directly to Tokyo. Sena Robin, a craft user. Is she the key to win the fight?.. I watched this anime so many years ago, but I do remember loving it....I think it was one of the first anime's I had ever seen.



Yuki's earliest memory is of her being attacked by a vampire and being saved by another one. Now, ten years later, Yuki is now the adopted daughter of the owner of Cross Academy. Cross Academy is different from most high schools, though. It has day classes for humans and night classes for vampires. Yuki's job is to make sure that the humans don't find out that the night classes are actually full of vampires. Among the vampires is her savior from ten years before named Kaname. Also, by her side is Zero, a childhood friend who despises Vampires. Yuki personally doesn't minde the vampires, especially Kaname. Do the vampires really have no alterer motive behind being in the same school as humans? Will a forbidden romance bloom between Kaname and Yuki?... This manga is very good. I loved the flirting between Kaname and Yuki.



Sakura,a princess from Clow Kingdom, loses her memory in a strange occurence. In order for her to regain her memory, Yukito, the towns mage, sends her childhood friend, Syaoran, to seek help from a witch, Yuuko. Yuuko tells Syaoran that he has to travel to alternate realities to retrieve fragments of Sakura's memory. However, even if Sakura retrieves her memories, she will have no memory of Syaoran whats so ever. On their journey, Sakura and Syaoran meet up with friends that help them on their journey... This anime and manga was suggested by a viewer. I've read a few chapters of it, and I thought it was great. I do plan on reading this manga, because it sounds so sad that she won't ever remember him.

I've only seen a few episodes of this anime series but it proved to be very good, and serious. If your a fan of comedic anime then I wouldn't watch it, but if you like the serious animes this is the one for you.

Vash the Stampede is the most dangerous gunman on the land of Gunsmoke. He's got a giant bounty on his head, and there are many people out for the reward. Little do they know, that Nash is actually a kind hearted guy that hates killing.... This anime reminds me of Rurouni Kenshin, because the two are both known as ruthless killers. In truth, though, they are both kind hearted and hate killing people. I'd recommend you watch this anime.




Chiyuki is a High School student with a heart disease. Her heart could give out at any second. One night, while staying in the hospital, she meets Touya, a vampire with the opposite problem. He will live for around a thousand years. It's custumary for a young vampire to choose a human partner, by dranking some of their blood, causing the two to share the same life span of a thousand years. Considering living that long as a curse, Touya refuses to bind a human to that life span. Chiyuki, not wanting to die young would gladly become his partner,but Touya refuses to drink her blood. The two become closer, but how long does Chiyuki have until her heart gives out? Will Touya be forced to drink her blood so he won't lose her?.. This manga is great. It's a perfect shoujo manga.




Saejima Midori is a normal High School girl that has a crush on a guy named Akira Sudo. The story is basically about the two making it through all of the hardships in life... I really enjoyed this Manga.





Tenchi Masaki was an ordinary high school boy, when five alien girls show up and move in with him. They propell him into an intergalactic battle, turning his life upside down... This anime was requested so I've never actually seen it, but it sounds good.




Kyoko devoted her life to her crush and childhood friend Shotaro. Shotaro asks her to go to Tokyo with him because he once to start his career as a famous singer. Kyoko gladly goes and quits high school for him. She keeps the house clean while Shotaro is following his dreams. While out, she tries to recruit as many Shotaro fans as she can. One day, she over hears Shotaro telling his manager how he only asked her to follow him because he needed a maid, and how he used her the whole time and didn't care about her. Kyoko gets angry and tells him that she will become more famous than him and ruin his name. Kyoko soon meets Ren, Shotaro's enemy and biggest competition in show biz. The two both team up in their acting careers. Could more than friendship bloom? Can Kyoko, who has no experience in showbiz, become more famous than Shotaro?... This manga is one of my favorites next to Hana Kimi. It keeps me interested on every chapter.




Five hundred years ago, there was a war on Earth; humans vs. Enterrans. Enterrans are genetically enhanced, with the DNA of animals, insects and humans, created to combat a virus which was wiping out the human race, but they turned out to be evil. A small number of them possess the power to become Hyper Enterrans, fighting warriors superior to their 'normal' Enterran form. The Enterrans won the war, and renamed the Earth to Enterra. Yakumo, the last human girl on Enterra, was struck by a fragment of meteorite and gifted with certain powers. Her father, knowing this and hoping that in the future it would benefit both humans and Enterrans, put her into cold sleep for what was supposed to be 50 years. But a computer malfunction turned it into 500 years. Now awake, Yakumo must journey to Shinzo, where the key to restoring peace on Enterra lies. Along the way, she befriends three Enterrans (Mushra, Sago and Kutal) who protect her as she makes her way to Shinzo. On the trip, they encounter many enemies, and only when she finally reaches Shinzo does Yakumo really see how important her quest is... This is a very good anime. I've watched every episode and loved them all.




Hundreds of years ago Kagetora,a strong ninja, devoted his life to protecting Benihime,a princess in his time. They were attacked and Kagetora was thrown into a lake, sinking to the bottom. He is somehow warped into the future where he witnesses a girl being kidnapped by some thugs on a building. Surprisingly, she looks just like Benihime, making Kagetora mistake the two to be the same person. It turns out the girl called Beni is actually a decsendant to Benihime. He saves her and she ends up thinking that he is just a cosplayer. Beni is the daughter of a rich man, so she is kidnapped often. Will Kagetora find a way back to his time ,or will he stay by Beni's side?.... This manga is very good. It reminds me of the show called Inuyasha a bit. 




In a world of spirits, there are shamans. Shamans connect people with the world of spirits. They help guide people and seeks advice. Manta Oyamada is one of those people who can see spirits. One night, he meets Yoh Asakura, a lazy-lacking shaman. They gradually become best friends and Manta finds out about Yoh's past and why he's in Tokyo. As Yoh and his spirit partner Amidamaru confront spirits, they also meet many enemies like Ren. As he meets those enemies, Yoh tries to achieve his goal of becoming the Shaman King... This was actually requested by a viewer, so I've never actually seen the anime. I've read one chapter of the manga and it was pretty good.





22 years ago a bizarre uprising occured, destroying civilization, killing many, and causing the area to break off of japans mainland. This land became known as the "lost ground" People managed to create a city in the lost grounds that they cut off from the wasteland. People were born called Alter Users, people who have powers called alter. The alter users that lived in the wasteland were called natives. The police force called HOLD were created to subdue the Native Alter Users. Soon, a part of the HOLD called HOLY was created. This force was constructed of mostly Alter Users. But now, the HOLY and HOLD orginizations have started to enslave the wasteland people.This is where Kazuma comes in, a reckless and hotheaded Native who lives with a girl named Kanami. Kazuma can barely manage to survive by farming.Soon, however, Kazuma becomes caught in the conflict with HOLY and forms a fierce rivalry with Ryuhou, one of its highest officers. On top of that, Mimori, Ryuhou's childhood friend, joins HOLY so she can be closer to him and help people. When they were younger, Mimori and Ryuhou were really close friends. Ryuhou was always very gentle and kind, but that all changed when his mother was killed by an Alter User. Now, Ryuhou is cold and aloof. Mimori hopes that she can find the old Ryuhou soon... I love this anime! It has a lot of good qualities. My favorite part is the relationship between Ryuhou and Mimori.









Tsukamoto Tenma is an ordinary 2nd year high school student who has fallen in love with one of her classmates, Karasuma Ooji. However, currently she is unable to confess her feelings to him. To make things worse, she found out that Karasuma is transferring to another school in a year. On the other hand, Tenma's other classmate, Harima Kenji (who is a delinquent) is also in love with Tenma. Not being able to confess his feelings, Harima gets depressed day by day.... This Manga and anime was actually requested by a viewer. I've only read the first few chapters of it, but it seems good. 




Sailor Moon is about Usagi Tsukino, who lives as an ordinary middle school girl until she is found by a talking cat named Luna. Through Luna, Usagi learns that the world is about to be attacked by a Dark Kingdom that had appeared once before, long ago, and destroyed the kingdom of the moon. Her dormant powers are then awakened to defend the Earth against the coming onslaught, and she is led to a number of friends who join her in the battle. Usagi fights using the identity of Sailor Moon, and as the story progresses she learns more and more about the enemies which face her and the evil force that is sending them. Gradually she discovers the truth about her own past life, her destined true love, and the possibilities for the future of the Solar System. 



Kamiya Kaoru mistakes a young man named Kenshin Himora for being the legendary Battousai, a ruthless swordsmen that killed without mercy. But, after seeing his reverse blade sword, she concludes that he is in fact nothing close to the Battousai. Also, she concludes that he is too kind to be a killer. Kaoru is soon kidnapped by some thugs, the leader claiming to be the Battousai. Kenshin comes to her rescue and easily defeats the leader,who is using a sword fighting technique called the Kamiya Kasshin Ryu. Kenshin then explains that the Battousai doesn't use the Kamiya Kasshin Ryū sword fighting style but the Sengoku Era style. This reveals that he is indeed the legendary Battousai. He quickly goes to leave, but Kaoru stops him and asks him to stay. Can Kenshin really hide from his ruthless past?.. This anime is amazing! It has all of the best elements of an anime such as shounen and shoujo mixed together. I'd suggest every anime and manga lover to watch this.




Rockin Heaven is about a girl named Sawa who applies to Heaven's Wing Academy, thinking she would look cute in the school uniform. But she never thought that it was a former all boys school. The top guy in her school named Ran doesn't seem to like her, and he's not hiding it. Adjusting to the school is hard, Sawa is bullied, and the boys even throw her new shoes in water. While trying to retrieve them, Sawa falls into the water and is surprisingly saved by Ran. This new found Kindess in Ran draws Sawa's attention and she even ends up falling for him. Does he fell the same?..... I really liked this manga. It had the perfect elements for a shoujo.






Ryoma Echizen, a tennis prodigy, enters Seishun Academy, a private school known for it's tennis team. Ryoma defeats many upper classmen after a just starting to attend the school. This whole story is about how Ryoma works his way to the top and makes many friends on the way. Can he succeed in his dream to win the All- japan junior High Tennis tournament?... I've never been a big fan on the sports based animes and mangas but I really liked this one. It actually got me wanting to play tennis.There is also a hint of shoujo in it.





Parfait Tic is about a high school girl named Fuuko. One day, two cute cousins, Daiya and Ichi, move into the apartment above her. Their first impression doesn't go very well with Fuuko. She thinks they're annoying and rude. She soon finds out that they will be going to the same school as her. How will she be able to handle them both at home and at school? Do they have another side to them that Fuuko over looked?.... This manga is one of the best I have read. The romance in it is so cute!




Ouran High School Host Club is about Haruhi Fujioka. She is a scholar ship student at Ouran High school. Because of the super high cost of her uniform, Haruhi resorts to wearing slacks and a vest. She also wears thick glasses and has short hair, making people confuse her for a guy. When Haruhi is looking for a place to study she stumbles upon a quiet room, not knowing that it belongs to the Ouran Host Club. She meets six attractive males, who spend their time charming the girls at school for profit. When they first meet, Haruhi accidentally knocks over a very expensive vase. To pay it off, Haruhi must work for the host club by cleaning and preparing food. Not knowing that she's actually a girl, the leader sees potential and promotes her to an actual host. Even after they find out she's a girl, Haruhi continues to work as a host. She must hide her gender and identity so she can pay off her debt... I haven't read a lot of this manga yet, but so far it's great. I just love the gender bender type of stories and this one hits the mark.





Naruto is about twelve year old Naruto Uzamaki. Years ago a nine tailed fox demon attacked the village of Konoha, forcing the surrounding ninja's to seal the nine tailed fox within a baby. That baby was Naruto. All his life, Naruto was avoided because people thought that he was a demon. Now, Naruto is in the ninja academy, training to become a ninja. There teacher, Aruka sensei, puts them all into groups. Naruto is put into a group with Sasuke, the strongest guy in class whose whole family was killed by his older brother, and Sakura, the girl Naruto has a crush on but she likes Sasuke. Naruto and his group must go on missions and fight the impossible.... This anime and manga is amazing! I am a huge fan! from the summary it seems that it would be slightly boring with the same thing happening over and over, but trust me, it's not.





Meru Puri is about high schooler Airi Hoshina whose only dream is to live in a cozy home with a loving husband. She makes it her goal to get to school on time everyday, because there is a legend that the longer non- tarty streak a girl has the better boyfriend she will get. Her plan is working so far when, on her way to school, airi drops her mirror. A mirror that was passed down through generations. Suddenly, a little boy appears from the mirror, claiming to be from a magical kingdom called Astale. In fact, Airi's great-great-great grandmother was a traitorous princess from Astale, making her a direct decendant of the royal family. Airi's first impression of Aram is that he's a cute, little kid. He becomes more troublesome than she thought, though. Airi unknowingly exchanged wedding vows with Aram. Because of the vow, both Aram and Airi have a mark on their torsos that link eachother. If any other guy kisses that mark Airi's heart will stop beating. However, Airi slowly becomes fond of Aram. There's one thing about Aram, though. He has a curse that causes him to age into a teenager when he's put in darkness. This curse causes Airi to start to have feelings for the older Aram... I thought this was a pretty good anime. It was strange at times but I still liked it.





Lovely Complex is about a very tall girl named Koizumi Risa. She has always been very tall for her age, which got in the way of her getting a nice boyfriend. Soon, though, there is a new transfer student and, he is also tall. Seeing him as a potential love interest, Risa hopes to catch his attention. Her summer school friend, Atsushi Ootani, who is short for his age, decides to help her. So Atsushi helps Risa get closer to the transfer student, Suzuki. In return for his help, Risa helps him get closer to her friend Chiharu. It turns out, though, that Suzuki and Chiharu have a lot in common. Risa and Atsushi decide to step back and let them be a couple. Risa then begins to notice her growing feelings for Atsushi, but he doesn't seem to notice at all. Risa must make him realise that it's him she likes. Does he feel the same? Can it work out between an overly tall girl and very short guy?... I've only watched one episode of this so far. I think it will be very good, though. The plot is twisted around. Instead of it being a short girl and tall guy the creator changed it. This twist, though, makes it a lot more amusing.






Koukou Debut is about Haruna Nagashima, a high school girl, who has always been a tom-boy. In middle school she gave all of her time to softball. But now, she's in High school. Haruna has a new goal, to get a boyfriend and fall in love. There's one problem, though, since she's never paid attention to that stuff she has no clue where to start. How is she supposed to attract guys? She soon meets Yoh Komiyama. At first sight of his coolness, Haruna decides he will be the one to teach her on how to get a boyfriend. She begs him to teach her. He said he would teach her on one condtion, she cannot fall in love with him. Haruna quickly agrees and sets out on a journey of love.... I love this manga! It's cute and very interesting. It't the perfect shoujo.




Kodocha is about sixth grader Sana Kurada, a young, famous actor. In her class is Akito Hayama, a quiet, rude guy. He is the "Gang leader" of all the boys in class. Lately, he's been ordering the boys to harrass the teacher. All of the commotion is making Sana fall back in her studies. She decides to confront akito about it once and for all. Over all the arguing, overtime, the two become close friends. Akito even begins to start liking Sana! Does she like him back?.... I absolutly love this anime and manga! It's so funny that I laugh in every episode. It has so many sad moments that make you cry, too. I'm actually currently watching the anime. I'd suggest this series to all anime and manga lovers.






Kaichou wa Maid-sama is about Misaki Ayuzawa, a young high school girl. When she was younger her father left her family, making her have a strong dislike to all males. Her high school used to be an all boys school, so ninety percent of the student body are boys. Misaki is the head of the student body, giving her the authority to put the boys in their places. Misaki also works at a maid cafe, a cafe where the waitresses dress like maids and call their customers master, so she can support her family. One day, Takumi Usui, a popular guy in her school, finds out that she works at the maid cafe. This makes Misaki very nervous. Her "rough" image will be ruined and the boys in her school will look down on her. When she goes to school the next day, Misaki realises that no one is acting any different. Takumi had kept her secret, but for what reason? This makes Misaki very suspicious of him.... I really like this manga. Misaki puts on that tough act in front of the boys when in truth she's very fragile. It makes the manga very interesting.




The Anime and Manga begins in Feudal Japan, when a half demon, half human man named Inuyasha steals the Jewel of Four Souls from a village. The Jewel of Four Souls is an item that can increase one's powers and grant any wish. InuYasha does not get far because Kikyo, the young priestess of the village, shoots him with a sacred arrow that seals him onto a sacred tree in the nearby forest. The spell puts him into a deep sleep where he doesn't age. After being fatally wounded, Kikyo tells her younger sister, Kaede, to burn the jewel with her body to prevent it from falling into the hands of evil.In modern day Tokyo, a junior high school girl named Kagome Higurashi is on her way to school. She stops in the well house of her family's shrine to get her cat when a centipede demon comes from the well and pulls her into the feudal period of Japan. Not knowing where she is, Kagome wanders around a forest near the well. She spots the sacred tree off in the distance and runs towards it. On the tree, she finds InuYasha, who is still sealed in an enchanted sleep. Villagers capture her and take her to the old priestess, Kaede. seeing that Kagome is the reincarnation of her sister Kikyo, Kaede tells her the story of Kikyo and InuYasha. She explains that Kikyo and Inuyasha were once in love, but it was destroyed because Inuyasha was the one who fatally wounded her to get the jewel shard(we soon find out that Inuyasha did not wound her, he was framed). Inuyasha soon wakes up and thinks Kagome is Kikyo, but soon finds out she is not. The centipede attacks again, and Kagome is forced to release InuYasha from his spell so he can kill it. After defeating the centipede, InuYasha tries to take the Jewel of Four Souls from Kagome, which came from inside her. In order to stop InuYasha and to save Kagome's life, Kaede places magical prayer beads around InuYasha's neck so that Kagome can stop him. To stop him, she says the word "sit", which makes him fall to the ground.The Jewel of Four Souls attracts more demons, and in a battle against a crow demon, the jewel is shattered into many shards that spread across Japan.Kagome and InuYasha set out to collect the shards and restore the Jewel of Four Souls.




Alchemy is the science of transmuting matter into a different form of that same matter (following the law of equivalent exchange) through the use of transmutation circles. Two young brothers Ed and Al both studied alchemy for many years, when suddenly their mother died of an illness. To try and bring her back, the two brothers performed forbidden alchemy, Ed losing his right arm and leg, Al losing his entire body. The younger brother, Al, was saved by having his soul tranmitted into a suit of armor. After the incident, Ed's childhood friend, Windry, replaces his right arm and leg with metal ones. That same night, Roy Mustang, an alchemist, comes to the house. He tells them that with their potential they could become state alchemists in the future. Ed, along with his brother, studies alchemy and soon becomes a state alchemist, in hope that they can somehow find a way to restore Al's body and Ed's arm and leg. Ed, adopting the name Full Metal Alchemist. The brothers eventually learn of the philosopher's stone. A stone that has great power. They set out to find the stone to restore their bodies.Along the way they discover secrets about the Philosopher's Stone they never wanted to know, and find others who seek it as well, doing almost whatever they can to get their hands on it.... This is a very sad yet funny anime. There are parts that want to make you cry because of all the tragedy and murder, but there are also humorous parts that I love.




Full House Kiss is about a fiften year old girl named Suzuhara Mugi who is on a hunt to find her sister. A while ago her parents died, apparently from suicide, and her older sister later ran off, only leaving a note. Now, she believes her sister is attending Shoukei High, a super elite school. This school is huge and has elite security. She has no way of getting in, though. One day, while standing outside the school grounds, she runs into a guy named Midou. He's a student at the school and has tight connections with the principal. Mugi tells him that she has to get in the school no matter what, but Midou isn't in any way obliged to help. He's a very smug and arrogent guy, but he eventually makes a deal with Mugi. She has to become his and three other housemates live in maid, and he will get her into the school. Mugi eventually agrees to this deal and finds out all the residents at the house are guys! Soon, though, she gets close to all of them. On top of that, when Midou told her he could get her into the school he didn't mean as a student. He dresses Mugi up to make her older and tells the principle she's a major in art. She is then asigned to be a substitute art teacher while the real one is out for a while. How is she supposed to be a teacher to students that are older than she is?! And how is she supposed to find her sister with cleaning the house and grading homework?... There aren't a lot of chapters to this manga yet, but so far I love it. It's very cute and interesting.



Fall in Love Like a Comic is about a High School girl named Rena who is secretly the author of various mangas in a magazine. If she is caught by the school she can get into a lot of trouble. She's in the middle of drawing a scene when Tomoya, a popular guy in school, walks in. She quickly leaves, clearly flustered, dropping her scetches on the floor. Tomoya sees them and instantly knows that she is the author. All the while, Rena's publisher tells her that her scenes don't have enough emotion. Rena then sets a goal to find true love and draw better scenes. Thats when Tomoya tells her she can use him as a boyfriend for now so she can get an idea of what it's like to be in love. Will Rena really fall in love with him? Will her secret get out?



Eureka Seven is about fourteen year old Renton Thirston whose father died during a military research. He now lives with his mechanic grandpa in a small town that he hates. He loves lifting, a sport like surfing except it's in the sky instead of the ocean. He dreams of joining a lifting/fighting group called gekkostate, led by his hero Holland, a legendary lifter. One day, a huge LFO(giant fighting machine)called the Nirvash crashes on his house. Inside the Nirvash is a girl around Renton's age whose name is Eureka, a member of Gekkostate. After the girl quickly leaves with a broken LFO, Rentons grandfather orders him to bring Eureka a part called the Amnita drive to fix the Nirvash. When he finally gets to the Nirvash it is in battle with other LFO's. Renton manages to board it and somehow helps defeat the LFO's. He is then invited to join Gekkostate, which makes him soon realise that the glamorous life on Gekko he dreamed of is really a lie. It's actually very boring, but he decides to stay for one purpose. That purpose is Eureka, who he quickly fell in love with at first sight. Renton, Eureka, and the Gekko State quickly embark on a journey that will change the world.... I loved this series. D.N Angel is about a fourteen year old boy Daisuke Niwa who has a crush on his classmate Risa Harada. There's just one thing about Niwa, everytime he thinks about his crush he transforms into the infamous phantom theif, dark. The only way he can get rid of his weird curse is to get Risa to like both sides of him(Dark and Niwa). On top of everything going on, a strange classmate of his is the head of the investigation on Dark. Also, Risa ends up falling in love with Dark but doesn't have the same feelings for Niwa. Can he get her to fall in love with him? Will he be captured by the police?.... I've only seen a few episodes of this anime series but it's been good so far.




Death Note is about a boy named Light Yagami who one day comes across a note book that is labled "Death Note". Light, curious of what it is, looks inside the book and reads strange instructions. It says that whoever finds the death note becomes the owner of it and that if they write someones name in it that person will instantly die. Light decides to try it out on a few criminals and finds out the next day they had all died from heart attacks, proving that the Death Note really works. Light then decides that he will make a better world by killing off all criminals. Soon after his path starts to create a perfect world, the police decide to go on a hunt for "Kira"(the name they gave the mysterious killer). On top of that, a famous detective that people call L decides to take charge of the Kira case. There's just one thing, he doesn't allow anyone to see him. Can L be closer to Light than he thinks. Will Light be caught in his strive to a better world?.... I am currently watching this anime and manga series. So far it's very entertaining. The fact that L and Kira have no idea what eachother looks like adds to the suspense. Especially the fact that they are closer than they think.





Cowboy Bebop is about a group of bounty hunters that live in outer space. It's the year of 2071 where technology is advanced. They capture criminals and visit different places..... That's pretty much all there is to the series, but it's not boring by any means. A lot of things happen that makes it a great series.

Code Lyoko is about a group of students who uncover a parallel universe called Lyoko inside a super-computer that is threatened by a program named XANA that could destroy the world. It's up to four boarding school students named Jeremy, Yumi, Ulrich, and Odd to help a being inside Lyoko named Aelita to stop the rogue program X.A.N.A and his plans to attack their world... This anime series looks like it would be for younger anime fans. It's still very good, though. There's a little romance throughout it that makes it interesting. 




Chocolate Cosmos is about a teenage girl named Sayuki who was born with a glare. Even when she's in a fairly good mood her peircing glare makes her look angry all the time. Because of her looks, students around her take her as a scary, mean girl. Truthfully, though, she's a romantic. She's always hoped to fall in love with a guy. One day, while visiting the beach, she meets a boy who refuses to tell her his name. Within the few hours they talk, Sayuki falls in love with him because he is the only one who has ever seen her true smile. He later tells her he goes to the same school as her. The next day at school Sayuki spends her whole day searching for him. She then overhears a teacher lecturing someone and sees that the boy she is lecturing is in fact the one Sayuki is in love with. To her surprise, the boy is actually a new, young teacher that works at her school! On top of that, he's one of her teachers! She just never paid attention enough to recognize him without his glasses. Will love conquer all? Can Sayuki really be in love with her teacher?..... This manga is very good. I thought it was very funny because of the almost seven years age difference. If you want to read this manga online I have it in the "images" link. 





Case closed is about a seventeen year old detective named Jimmy Kudo. He's at an amusement park with his childhood friend, Rachel(who he has a crush on), when there is a murder. Two of the suspects are mysterious men dressed in black. After he quickly solves the case, the two men in black run off. Jimmy, thinking they are up to no good, runs off after them. He is soon discovered and knocked into semi-unconiousness where the two men feed him a strange pill. A few hours later he wakes up to find out he was morphed into his seven year old self. He is then forced to live with Rachel, making up the name Conan Edagawa. Rachel thinks he's a relative to a friend of hers. Now, Jimmy must find the men who gave him the pill and get an antidote to it, while also keeping his true identity a secret from rachel..... I love this anime. It is very creative and entertaining. When I first saw it I had to watch the rest.





Cardcaptor Sakura is about a young girl Sakura who opens a mysterious book in her fathers study that releases the magic Clow Cards. Because she was able to open the seal, Sakura reveals special powers, making it her responsibility to retrieve the missing cards.... I have never actually seen this anime series so I don't have an opinion on it. It was suggested by someone visiting the site so I decided to add it. My friend has watched it, though, and says it is a great anime. I hope to watch it soon.



Busou Renkin is about a boy named Kazuki who witnesses a girl being attacked by a monster. He runs to help her but gets killed in the process. Strangely, he wakes up the next morning thinking it was just a dream until another monster attacks, endangering his sister. The mysterious girl that he had tried to save appears and helps him defeat the monster. She later explains that her name is Tokiko and that she felt responsible for his death and revived him by using a Kakugane medal in his chest. The Kakugane is an alchemical device that, when activated, takes the form of a weapon called a Busou Renkin. A Busou Renkin is the only thing that can defeat a Homunculus monster. Using his Kakugane, Kazuki creates his own Busou Renkin that takes form of a huge sword, later called sunlight heart. Along with Tokiko and her own Busou Renkin, which is an execution skyth, Kazuki joins the fight against the Homunculi and their master.... This anime and manga series reminded me of the series called "Bleach". I later found out that it was made by the same creator. I really liked this anime and manga because it had a lot of twists. It always kept me wanting to read more.





Big O is about a man named Roger Smith who is a negotiator for the city called Paradigm, whose residents have lost all memory of the past. One day he meets a human like android named Dorothy and takes it upon himself to protect her and his butler Norman. Often, big robots attack the town, making Roger call upon his own robot called Big O. Can he protect the town while protecting the people he cares for? Can he recover the ancient past of the city?... I really liked the anime series of Big O. You never know what the relationship between Roger and Dorothy is. If you like action and robot animes you'll love this one.





Fruits Basket it about a girl named Tohru whose mother died in an accident a year ago. Having no place to stay, she ends up staying with the Sohmas(a weird but funny family). The household consists of Yuki,a guy who kind of looks like a girl but is nice, Shiguri, a funny guy obsessed with high school girls, and Kyo, a bad boy at first sight but really nice guy. There's just one thing about them, though. When hugged by the opposite gender they turn into animals! On top of that, twelve of the Sohmas transform like that(based on the twelve zodiacs). Will Tohru manage to keep their secret and be able to live in the house? I love this anime/manga! Right when I saw the first episode I was hooked. It's humorous with a touch of romance. I'd suggest this to every anime and manga lover.B.O.D.Y is about sixteen year old Sakura Ryouko has always had a crush on Fuji Ryuunosuke, a smart, quiet boy who sits next to her in class. Everyone thinks she has weird taste in guys but Sakura finds his aloofness interesting. One day while walking from school, Sakura sees a cute guy being forced to get in a car by a group of people.To her surprise, Sakura realizes that guy is Fuji. After saving him by dragging Fuji away down the road, he explains that his school image is fake. He's really a Host! The only reason he acts aloof and smart at school is so no one finds out he's a host. Sakura realizes that he is just a jerk and tells him that she would never be able to fall in love with a guy like him. Fuji, on the other hand, thinks Sakura is very interesting. He tells her that he will make her fall in love with him. Can he really make Sakura fall in love with him? Will his secret Host job be discovered?.... I really like this shoujo manga. I just loved how it started out with her liking him and then was totally switched. 




Blue Gender is about a boy named Yuji Kaido who is diagnosed with a serious disease. In order to stop it from spreading for the time being, Yuji is put into a cryogenic state. When he wakes up 22 years later he is attacked by a huge beast and saved by a women named Marline Angel. She explains that the beasts are called the blue and have taken over earth. She is from a place called second earth up in outer space and was sent down to earth to recover the sleepers(people who were put to sleep because of the disease). Over their travels to get to second earth, Yuji and Marline form a bond. On earth Yuji is trained to fight in an Armour Strike(large fighting machine)and help Marline destroy the blue. Can they take back earth from the blue? I really liked this anime. It had a lot of touching moments between the two and a lot of fighting also.




Under the care of her adopted family, Saya Otonashi has lost all of her memory.She's been enjoying her normal high school life, but when she's attacked by a beast called a Chiropteren her happy life is shattered. Saya learns that she is the only one that can destroy the chiropterens and her evil twin sister, Diva. Armed with a sword, Saya sets out on a journey with her family and other allies to rid the world of Chiropterens and remember her past. The journey reveals the secrets of Saya's deepest past..... At first I wasn't too fond of this anime because it has a lot of blood shed in it, but I decided to give it a chance. I'm glad I did, because it turned out to be pretty good. The story line is very interesting.






Bleach is about a fifteen year old boy named Ichigo Kurosaki who has been able to see ghosts for as long as he can remember. For some reason, though, lately he's been seeing a lot more of them. One night he encounters a a girl who saves his life from a huge beast. Before he can thank her, though, she disappears. That same night he encounters her once again and she explains that she is a soul reaper called Rukia from the soul society, a world where people go when they die. She also explains that the beast that attacked was called a hollow. Speaking of which, they are attacked by one minutes later. This time the Hollow is endangering Ichigo's family. Ichigo attempts to save his sister but is going to be killed himself. Rukia manages to save him, severely injuring herself. She then tells ichigo the only way he can save his family is if he takes her powers and temperarily becomes a soul reaper. To Rukia's suprise, Ichigo accidentally takes all of her powers. Now a full fledged soulreaper, Ichigo must fight hollows that are trying to destroy his world with Rukia along side him as a human..... I first started watching the anime of this a few summers ago. I was instantly hooked to it and watched it constantly. The story line is great and it always keeps you wanting more. It does have a manga version which is also very good. 



Alice 19th is about a fifteen year old girl who has a crush on a guy named Kyou. The problem is, her popular, older sister also likes him. One day, while walking to school, Alice jumps in front of a car to save a small rabbit. After being saved by Kyou Alice finds out that the rabbit is really a small girl that can transform. The girl tells Alice that she is a lotis master. Now Alice must fight off evil when her sister is kidnapped by darkness. Can Alice and Kyou save her sister from peril?... I thought this Manga was pretty good. It sometimes tended to go on about the same thing but it always sparked an interest to me. The little romance in it made it even better.




Akuma De Sourou is about a girl named Kayano who is secretly in love with a guy in her class called Kajimo. She's too shy to tell him though. One day she musters up the courage to write a letter to him, confessing her feelings. She's so flustered when she goes to give it to him that she aciddentally gives it to the wrong guy! Takeru, the guy she accidentally gave it to, is as evil as it gets and is also the principals son. He makes Kayano become his servent as long as he has the letter! Kayano automatically hates the guy. On top of having to do whatever the jerk says, Kayano's mom announces she's going to get married. And guess who it is? The principal! Now, Kayano has to deal with him at school and at home as a step brother. Takeru begins to show more of a good side,though, causing Kayano to hate him less and less each day. Will hate turn to love?....... I first fell in love with this manga basically because of the artwork. The main guy character has the weirdest hairstyles that look really cool. After I read it, though, I couldn't tell which was better, the artwork or storyline. They were both amazing and fun to read. If you like Shoujo Manga you'll absolutely love Akuma De Sourou





Absolute Boyfriend or Zettai Kareshi is about a girl named Riiko who has never had a boyfriend. She's asked many guys out but has always been rejected. One day, while on the computer, Riiko comes across an add called "Lovers Shop" After reading some of it she decides to try out the three day trial. The next day a big box appears at her door. When Riiko opens it a guy falls out, saying he wants to be her boyfriend. He's cute, sweet, and seems to really care for her. There's one problem, though, if Riiko doesn't return him within the three day free trial she'll have to pay 1 million dollars! Riiko really likes the guy, though. I first saw this Manga when reading through a shoujo beat magazine. I was instantly hooked and read the rest of it. The artwork is good and the storyline is great.
