Welcome to my overview page!

Episode 1: "A Soul Reaper is Born"
I really liked this episode. The introduction of the characters ran very smoothly, it didn't seem like it was rushed at all.  I didn't think so much stuff could be introduced in a twenty-four period time limit, but they did it perfect on this anime.  I absolutlely love the character Rukia.  She seemed calm and collective at first but turned out to be funny and obnoxious.  I also enjoyed watching Ichigo's character.  He's mean but also very carrying when it comes to sending the lone spirits to heaven. Ichigo's dad was also a character I really enjoyed.  He always seems to be attempting to beat up Ichigo but always fails miserably.  Ichigo's two younger sisters, Yuzu and Karin are also quite well plotted.  Yuzu seemed kind and caring, while Karin seemed violent just like her brother.  Overall, I really enjoyed this episode of Bleach.

Episode 2:"A Soul Reapers Work"
I think I enjoyed this episode just as much as the first one.  I love how Rukia entered Ichigo's school .  This makes me think that there could be a possible romance between the two.  At least I'm hoping that will happen. Once again, on this episode they introduced other characters very smoothly.  I'm kind of bias as to wether I like the character Tatuski.  She isn't annoying for the most part but there's just something about her that makes it impossible for me to ever have her as one of my favorite characters.  I absolutely did not like Orihime, though.  She came off as annoying from the beginning, and I doubt my annoyance of her will ever lessen.  She just seems like the type of person you'd see at school that you'd automatically feel sorry for.  She's a huge dork  and within the the amount of a few hours she went from being scared of Ichigo to actually starting to like him.  I'm starting to see a potential crush developing for Ichigo, but I'm not so sure if he'd ever fall for a girl like Orihime.  Basically, though, I really liked this episode.

Episode 3:"Younger Sister's Wish, Older Brother's Wish"
Even though I don't like Orihime much, this episode was very touching.  You'd never think that they could come up with such a touching thing in a Shounen anime.  The whole thing with Orihime and her brother was so sweet.  I wasn't very thrilled over how Ichigo was so set on protecting Orihime, it kind of made me think there could be a potential, mutual crush developing.  I have to admit, I was very surprised when the brother took control of his body once again.  It just shows that the hollows aren't just monsters that aimlessly kill.  It makes me feel more sorry for them when they're defeated.  I thought it was funny when Rukia had to ride on Ichigo's back.  It reminded me when I watched the anime of Inuyasha.  Even though it featured more of Orihime than I'd like, I really liked this touching episode.

Episode 4:"The Cursed Parakeet"
I didn't mind this episode but it wasn't my favorite.  I guess it was a good way to add Sado into the story, though.  I thought it was very amusing when Rukia couldn't open her juice.  It just shows how other wordly she is.  Sado seemed indestructable during this episode.  He kept getting hit my things that would kill normal humans.  That makes me think he may play a fighting companion with Ichigo soon. Overall, this episode wasn't bad.

Episode 5:"The Invisible Enemy"
I actually liked this one.  I thought it would be like the last one and not catch my attention too much, but it was good.  The whole part where it showed Rukia helpless against the hollow was a turn from when we first saw her.  It also showed how Ichigo is beginning to care for her more each day.

Episode 6: "Battle to the death, Ichigo vs Ichigo"
I thought this episode was pretty funny.  I loved how Tatsuki freaked out because she thought Ichigo kissed her on the cheak.  I love the character Uruhara Kisuke.  He is so funny and childish that it's cute. I didn't see the point of adding the two children at the shop but they will hopefully have a more important role in the series later on.  Overall, this was a fairly good episode.

Episode 7:"Greetings From a Stuffed Toy"
I thought this was a great episode to introduce the character Kon.  It also opened what could be the beginning of a new story about Ichigo's mother.  Also, at the end it showed yet another beginnig of a new story about Rukia.  This episode was very essential to the series.

Episode 8:" June 17th, Memories in the Rain"
This episode, I think, was very touching.  I'm sure people were wondering what happened to Ichigo's mother since episode one.  It also shows the bond between Rukia and Ichigo.  No matter how mad Ichigo may get at Rukia, he still runs to her aid at the first sign that she's in trouble.  The soul reaper coming to get Rukia also was very interesting.  When he rambles about her commiting a felony, it kinda makes you wonder what's going to happen to Rukia in the future.  Also, when Rukia tells Ichigo that she'll be there when he wants to talk to her, it shows you that she plans on staying with him for a long time.  I don't know if it's out of her duty because he's her substitute soul reaper, if it''s because it'll take a long time to regain her powers, or if she just wants to be with Rukia, but whatever the reason, I was very happy.  Rukia, personally, is one of my favorite characters.

Episode 9:" Unbeatable Enemy"
This episode was quite touching, in my opinion.  It showed how Ichigo really feels about his mother's death, and it shows her killer.  Also, it shows how much Rukia has come to care for Ichigo.  Overall, this episode was very good.

Episode 10:" Assault on Trip at Sacred Grounds"
This episode seemed very pointless to me.  It did have some parts that I liked, like when Rukia tells Ichigo that he should have fun because she is worried about him. That just shows how close they have become.  For the most part, though, I don't think this episode has any value to the series at all.

Episode 11:
I thought the beginning of this episode was quite funny.  It shows that Rukia has a knack for acting.  For the rest of it, it turned out pretty good.  It was able to introduce a new, mysterious character.
